On Friday night, the Barclays Center in Brooklyn exploded into cheers as their point guard, Deron Williams lit up the Washington Wizards with threes after threes. Deron, who has been spectacular since the All-Star break, knocked down 9 three pointers in the first half to set a new NBA record. He went 7 for 7 from beyond the arc in the first quarter and continued in the second, where he would hit his eighth straight and then the record breaking ninth to finish with 33 points on 15 shots before heading into the break. The Wizards as a team only scored 33 points in those two quarters and it took them 50 shots. What is even more impressive was that Deron did all of that in 16 minutes, while Washington took 24. The Brooklyn point guard would eventually finish one three pointer shy of the all-time NBA record of 12 three pointers made in a game. Forget dunking Deron, if you can go 11 of 16 from downtown every night, you don't ever have to worry about getting into the paint and risk injury.

J.R. Smith missed everything on his free throw attempt.
Not all that surprising considering what he tweeted yesterday.
Never change, J.R. Smith, never change. Except maybe for your nickname, "Swish" is now no longer applicable. "Mike Woodson .GIF creator" is more fitting.

Jameer Nelson bounces passes his shot into the basket.
I guess Orlando does possess some type of magical powers. It's too bad that in the only time it works, it didn't count. At least Kevin Garnett wasn't around to block your shot after the play.

Sixers Fans chanted "Honey Nut Cheerios" during Carmelo's freethrows.
Last Thursday, in the New York Knicks vs. Boston Celtics rematch at the TD Garden, any Cheerios-related items brought in by the fans were confiscated by security. For those of you, who are out of the loop on the whole Cheerios fiasco between Kevin Garnett and Melo, I will summarize it for you in a sentence. Basically, a few weeks ago, during the first Celtics vs, Knicks game of the season, Kevin Garnett reportedly said Melo's wife, Lala tasted like Honey Nut Cheerios and Melo didn't take it too well. Since then, the internet has kept relevant, making a non issue into a thing that will forever haunt Carmelo for the rest of his NBA career. Taking advantage of this known fact, Philadelphia 76ers fans decided to chant the popular General Mills cereal on Saturday in an attempt to get the Knick to miss his free throws. It didn't work, but Melo did get a little chuckle from it.
Keep it classy Philly fans, you are not making any friends in this league by chanting a possible misquote reported on Twitter or cheering for injuries to other players.

The Boston TD Garden confiscated Cheerios boxes and signs in the Knicks vs. Celtics rematch.

| Howard Simmons/New York Daily News |
When something gets on the internet, it stays forever. So of course when the Knicks visited the TD Garden yesterday to play the Celtics, the fans of the green decided to get creative and make Cheerios signs in an attempt to throw off Melo. Unfortunately their hard work would go to waste, as the security confiscated any Cheerios-related displays to ruin the fun.
They didn't stop this bro though, he apparently was able to sneak it in.

The Round Up - January 24th, 2013.
Stat Rundown + Short Recaps
Toronto Raptors vs. Orlando Magic: The Raptors did it! They won a close game! Up by double digits late in the game, the Raptors did Raptor-y things that allowed the Magic to crawl back from the deficit to tie the game with 20 seconds left on the game clock. Normally, this would go into overtime, where Toronto will crumble with a familiarity that we are accustomed to seeing and lose another hard fought battle, but DeMar DeRozan would not let it happen. The shooting guard scored 14 of his 22 points (10 of 17) in the 4th quarter, including this buzzer beating basket to win the game.
Demar DeRozan also did this to the Magic.
Shout Out: To Nikola Vucevic, who led Orlando with a team high 19 points on 8 of 14 shooting and 14 rebounds.
New York Knicks vs. Boston Celtics: The Knicks finally snapped their 13 game losing streak at the TD Garden, where they haven't won since November, 2006. Carmelo Anthony had a game-high 28 points on an inefficient 11 of 28 shooting, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. This is Melo's 27th straight 20+ points game, moving him past Amar'e Stoudemire for the third longest streak in Knicks' history. On the other side, Rajon Rondo got his 27th career triple double, it is the 20th on national TV and the 4th one this season. His 23 points, 10 boards and 11 dimes ties him with Bill Russell for the 4th most triple doubles in Celtics History. Paul Pierce had a great first half, scoring 19 of his 22 points, but he would go without hitting a single field goal in the second. To make things even stranger for the Knick slayer, in the final two critical possessions of the game, Pierce turns the ball over twice, basically losing the game for his team. The Boston struggle continues. (Via: @cjzero)
Los Angeles Clippers vs. Phoenix Suns: Chris Paul was injured, the Clippers played awful and the Phoenix Suns took advantage. Goran Dragic led all Suns with 24 points on 5 of 12 shooting, 5 rebounds and 8 assists in the victory. As for the Clippers, Blake Griffin dunked. A lot.
Michael Beasley still has the coolest hair in the game. (Via: @BeyondtheBuzzer)
Beasley may not be putting up the numbers he was expected to for the Suns, but his hair game is on point. It is almost different every basketball game.

The Round Up - January 11th, 2012.
Stats Rundown
Last night at the Staples Center, Kevin Durant was determined to take another scoring champion trophy from Kobe Bryant. He maybe 2.5 points behind the Black Mamba's 30 a night but it is not too late to comeback from behind. He dropped a season high 42 points on 16 of 25 shooting, while grabbing 8 boards and dishing out 5 assists to show off his improved all around game.
Dishin': As his loyal partner in crime, Russell Westbrook had his share in the destruction of the Lakers. The spontaneous point guard finished with 27 points (10 of 21 shooting), 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 2 steals to give the once dominant LA team their first 6 game losing steak since 2007.
Enough: If a longtime dedicated Laker fan like Jack Nicholson, leaves a game early because he can't stay to watch his team get pulverized, the Lakers have lost all hope. Hey, at least Kobe passed Alex English for 8th on the all-time made field goals list.
Shout Out: To Luol Deng's 33 points (13 of 18), 5 rebounds and 4 assists to help keep the Bulls undefeated in Friday games (4-0).
To Devin Harris's near perfect shooting game, he had 24 point on 7 of 8 shooting (4 of 5 from the three), 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals in the Atlanta Hawk victory over the Utah Jazz.
To Kyrie Irving for always keeping his Cavaliers in games. Despite Denver turning the ball over 22 times, the sophomore's 28 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals could not get the job done in Mile high City.
And to Tony Parker, who put up a valiant effort in the Spurs loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. He scored a game high 30 points (10 of 21), 3 of which were none more important then this shot that took his team into overtime.
However, his effort will prove to be no match for the Girt and Grind Grizzlies.
Rookie Watch: In Damian Lillard's homecoming to Oakland, he put on a quite a show for his family and friends. The surefire Rookie of the Year went for 37 points on 15 of 25 shooting and shot 7 of 12 from behind the arc. He also got 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and absolutely no help from his teammates, who shot a combined total 67 shots and only scored 60 points. On the other side, the victory for the Golden State Warriors matches their win total of 23 games from last season.
Time Machine User: Paul Pierce not only looks and plays like an old man, he is one, and a damn good one too. He had 23 points (8 of 14), 6 rebounds, and 3 assists to lead the Celtics to their 5 game winning streak. As a added bonus, he passed Dominique Wilkins for the 11th spot in the NBA all time scoring list.
Stay Toasty: When you are a man of Joey Crawford's age, keeping blood circulating through your body is a must. Kirk is mesmerized. (Via: @cjzero)
Highlights
Hook Up: The Bromance between Stephen Curry and David Lee transpires on court as well. They don't even have to look at each other to know where the ball is coming.
Fancy: Jamaal Tinsley is actually pulling off street ball moves at the age of 34.
Athletic Reptiles: Toronto might not a be one of the best teams, but they do always have a high flyer in their shooting guard position. Which is more than enough of a reason to watch their games. Please get Terrence Ross on the dunk contest and put the Raptors name in the public.
Innocent Bystander: Manu Ginobili is having one of those "I am too old for this shit" moments. Seriously, what were you thinking? Now Coach Pop has to sit for the next game and risk a fine.

Jeremy Lin is a member of the Red Dragon Gang.
You think you know everything about Jeremy Lin after he exploded into the NBA with an amazing 2 weeks of elite level play for the New York Knicks. Well, there is more to his story, on the surface he might be a religious, hard working Harvard graduate that went undrafted out of the Ivy League and found his place in the Association during the perfect circumstances for his success. But what you didn't know was that he is a current active member of the notoriously fictional Red Dragon Gang. After a head to head collision with Larry Sanders of the Milwaukee Bucks in a game on Friday, he bled his gang logo on the side of his head.
It is not known what the Red Dragon Gang actually does, there are however, possible affiliates or other members in the NBA. According to the Basketball Index in my head, Andrei Kirilenko supposedly one of the leaders of the gang. As shown on his massive dragon tattoo, leaders are the ones riding the dragons. (Shout out to Carlos Delfino's bicep dragon.)
Even though his tattoo is based off his World of Warcraft character, it doesn't mean he is not part of the gang. Wait, it could just mean that the Red Dragon Gang might just a guild name and not a real gang, which would probably make more sense.

The Round Up - January 7th, 2013.
Stats Rundown
LaMarcus Aldridge dropped 27 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and handed out 5 assists in the overtime win against the Orlando Magic. For the last few years, this guy has been consistently posting up 20 and 10 every night, but his effort always goes unnoticed due to the lack of success. Fortunately the arrival of Damian Lillard and growth of Nicholas Batum gives him a team that he finally deserves. Portland will be a fun team to watch in the next couple of seasons.
Missed 6: What does J.J Redick and Gordon Hayward have in common? Well, they both missed only six shots in their respective 27+ point games. Redick went 6 of 10 from the 3, scored 29 points and dished out 5 assists. Gordon Hayward had 27 points (4 of 5 from the three), 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 blocks in the Utah Jazz victory over the Dallas Mavericks.
Hayward needs more playing time, he is solid on both ends of the floor and will reward you with plays like this. I know nobody keeps count, but aside from LeBron James, and Kenneth Faried, this guy might lead the league in transition blocks.
Grizzly Surprise:Wayne Ellington first made his name in the blowout victory over the Heat at the beginning of the season, but he has been quiet ever since. That was until last night, where he shot 6 of 7 from the three, and scored 26 points on 11 shots, he only missed once.
Dimes: Jameer Nelson has become the Orlando Magic' all time leader in assists with 2,777. Not to take anything away from Jameer, but it can't be too difficult when you played with a healthy Dwight Howard early in your career.
Rookie Watch: Bradley Beal has earned 3 consecutive Rookie Watch honors and deservedly so. This is by far his best game in terms of contribution. He had 22 points (7 of 17), 5 rebounds, 4 assists and the game winning shot to embarrass Kevin Durant in his hometown.
Time Machine User: I think every Boston Celtic fan should thank me because ever since I uploaded my piece on their problems, not only have they fixed those said problems, they are now also on a 3 game winning streak. Paul Pierce went off for another big night at the MSG, going for 23 points (10-18), 3 rebounds, 6 assists and a couple of daggers down the stretch to get the victory.
The Celtics got into the heads of the Knicks in this game, especially Carmelo, who shot 6 for 26 from the field. Apparently Kevin Garnett said some things to cause Melo to go into the Boston locker room for a yelling match. Later, he was filmed waiting for Garnett in front of the team bus. Nothing physically actually happened off court, but people on twitter said (not legitimate sources) KG made sexual remarks (involved cheerios, or something) about Melo's wife during the game.
Smash: J.R. Smith and Tyson Chandler executes the perfect pick and roll.
Headbands: The New York Knick leads the league in using head bands to cover up cuts on players' heads. (Via: @BeyondtheBuzzer)
Bizarro World: First, the Washington Wizards beat the Oklahoma City Thunder, making them probably the best championship contending team killers. They are 2-2 against the Heat and Thunder, 3-26 versus the rest of the league.
Then we have the Chicago Bulls shooting lights out from behind the arc. For a team that usually makes 5 threes a game at a rate of 36 percent, they went for 10 of 14 against the Cavs last night, and 71 percent of them fell. It is a miracle.
Jokes: Every single tweet from Kobe has been gold so far. He even addressed the rumored fights with Dwight Howard in the most twitter way possible, via photo. (Via: @kobebryant)
Pop Death Stares: You can already guess that Coach Pop doesn't sit well with losses. (Via: @HPbasketball)
Don't be like Pop, enjoy your morning.

The Round Up - January 3rd, 2013.
Stats Rundown
Carmelo Anthony has yet struggled to score. He had 23 points on 9 of 20 shooting, 8 rebounds and 3 assists in the blow out victory over the San Antonio Spurs, who were on their 4th game in the last 5 nights. Way to schedule games, NBA.
Reversal: Both the San Antonio Spurs and New York Knicks don't score a whole lot in the paint, due to their reliance on three point shooting. But for a team that has Tim Duncan and sneaky Tony Parker, you would think they score more than 12 points in the paint, let alone allowing the Knicks outscore them by 24. Which pretty much explains Coach Pop's face. (Via: @netw3rk)
No, it' not. It is just another Gary Neal play.
Rookie Watch x Time Machine User: At age 38, Pablo Prigioni is the oldest NBA rookie, who found a retirement home in New York (It is funny, because the Knicks are old). He was huge off the bench last night, he dished out 9 assists and stole 3 basketballs in the victory. I actually have no idea how Pablo plays in his younger years in the Euroleague, but you get what I mean.
Little Man Comeback: J.J. Barea of the Minnesota Timberwolves scored 12 of his total 17 points in the 4th quarter to get the victory over the Denver Nuggets.
Baby Hair Records: Andre Miller scored his 15,000th point yesterday, becoming the 8th NBA player with 15,000+ points and 7,500 assists.
Weird Accident: Stephen Jackson injured his ankle when he fell on a waitress serving the the Mayor of New York. Coincidence or evil genius? Jackson did not return to the game, probably because Pop can use it as an excuse to rest him.
Fade Check: Iman Shumpert busts out the Gangnam Style on the bench because he heard it could cure injuries. (Via: @TheKnicksWall)
Tyson Squat: Tyson Chandler has mastered the art of AERObic exercises. I'm sorry.(Via: @TheKnicksWall)

The Round Up - January 1st, 2013.
Stats Rundown
He might take a questionable amount of unadvised 3 pointers, but Josh Smith does a lot of other things right. J-Smooth had 23 points (11 of 20 shooting), 13 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals and 4 blocks in the victory over the New Orleans Hornets. To add to his amazing line, he also grabbed his 5000th rebound last night, get him to the All Star game people.
Honorable Mention: To Carmelo Anthony's 45 points on only 24 attempts, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Even though the Knicks lost, Melo couldn't miss shot in the game. Just watch.
Dishin': Jrue Holiday is putting on a solid All Star campaign, 26 points (10 of 19), and 10 assists. Despite the horrible start he got off to, he is now averaging 19 and 9, showing everyone that he is one of the best guards in the East.
Back court Vibes: Holiday's partner in Philadelphia didn't do too bad himself, Evan Turner got 22 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assists to carve up the imaginary Lakers defense.
Rookie Watch: Bradley Beal is finally showing off his shooting stroke, the kid went for 22 points (7 of 16), 4 rebounds and 2 assists in another Wizards loss, because they are the Wizards.
Damian Lillard might not have gotten the honor, but he did do this to the New York Knicks.
Time Machine User: Kobe Bryant is going to kill someone if the Lakers continue to struggle. His 36 points (14 of 29), and 6 rebounds was a waste of effort and it will continue to be, unless someone, everyone is playing defense.
Clyde Suit: Mean and Green. (Via: @jose3030)
WTF: The Madison Square Garden held a baby race during the halftime. Not exactly sure how to feel about this. (Via: @blazermb)
It's Over: The Los Angeles Clippers' 17 game winning streak has come to an end at the Pepsi Center in Denver.
Highlights
Vinsanity: Vince Carter still got some bounce in his old, old, brittle legs.
What's luck got to do with it: Jodie Meeks is livin' on a prayer.
Feed the Beast: I know we all want some of whatever Javale McGee is cooking. This his first made 3 in the NBA, and we can expect more because the Andrew Bynum itch is strong.
Just watch.

J.R. Smith talks about his 3,000 tattoos.
Okay, I might have exaggerated a little bit, but it is not actually hard to believe he has that many.
J.R. Smith has by far the most tattoos on his upper body than any other NBA player and actually doesn't regret any of them. Here is a little story about the history of his ink.
From NYT:
At this point is basically just one giant tattoo right? I wonder what is the percentage of his skin that is not inked, can someone figure it out for me?

From NYT:
Q. How many did you have before you think you lost count (of your tattoos)?A. It was around 70-something.Q. How many tattoo parlors do you think you have been in?A. Probably a thousand. I’ve been to so many where I didn’t get a tattoo. Sometimes I watch or go in to see what’s new. It really depends on how I feel.
Being in the NBA, he probably have been to a tattoo parlor in every single city in America (well, that has a NBA team). Making it a pretty cool future Grandpa story.
Q. Which tattoo took the longest and how long was that?A. My back. It took a day to do the outlining. I didn’t finish it until a few years later.
Q. Were you excited when it was done?
A. I wasn’t really excited. I was actually kind of mad because I wanted to do so much more stuff to it, but I had no more space.
That sucks, after spending years to complete a tattoo, he wasn't excited because he had no space left to do anything else. Really? Your back already looks like a street mural.
Q. Is there one tattoo that you wish you could remove?A. I love all of my tattoos.Q. Were you always fascinated with tattoos? When did it start?A. I actually hated tattoos. I told myself I would never get like this.Q. When did it all change?A. Once I got one, I was addicted.
Admitting is the first step, man. You will regret it once you get older and your tattoo stretches out because of the beer belly you develop after retirement.

The Round Up - December 28th, 2012.
Stats Rundown
Ciao, my people of Italy or Denver Nuggets fans or Fantasy owners. You would be glad to hear that Danilo Gallinari has ended his cold shooting streak recently and just got a career high 39 points (14 of 23 shooting), 8 rebounds and 3 assists in the 34 minutes he played against the Dallas Mavericks.
Honorable Mention: To Tony Parker's 31 points (11 of 19), 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 2 steals against one of their Texas rivals, the Houston Rockets.
The Chosen One: Is there still any doubt that LeBron James is the best NBA player in world? This man had 35 points (15 of 22, 68 FG%), 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 6 steals and a block in a disappointing loss to the Detroit Pistons. With this line, he joins Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Charles Barkley to ever post those numbers in the past 25 years. Impressed yet? How about taking a look at his shot chart.
Ridiculous.
Boards: Kenneth "The Manimal" Faried grabbed 19 rebounds (7 Offensive) and scored 11 points in the blowout win over the Dallas Mavericks.
Rookie Watch: Anthony "Fear The Brow" Davis shows us why he was picked first overall, 25 points (11 of 20), 9 rebounds and 3 blocks against the Toronto Raptors.
Time Machine User: Kobe Bryant was short 3 points to save his 10 game streak of 30 points+, but he got his points in an efficient manner, he shot 9 for 18 from the field and had 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in the victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.
Block Party V.I.P.: Tim Duncan's 2 blocks in the win over the Houston Rockets, gets him the 8th spot on the NBA all-time block list with 2, 543. The old man also had 30 points (13 of 20), and 5 rebounds.
Wig-Out: Cleveland Cavaliers fans all donned a Anderson Varejao's Sideshow Bob wig, because apparently his hair has it's own day.
Missed Opportunity: Greivis Vasquez missed out on his first triple career by a single rebound. He finished with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 14 assists. Just so you know he had 9 rebounds in the third and did not get a single one even though they went into overtime against the Toronto Raptors, who surprisingly pulled out a victory in a close game.
Turning Tides: It was a werid day in the NBA, the Washington Wizards beat the Orlando Magic to snap the 8 game losing streak. The Detroit Pistons tooks down the reigning NBA Champions, Miami Heat. The Sacramento Kings defeated the New York Knicks with a game winning three and did I mention that the Raptors won a close game?
Don't Call it a Come Back: The Los Angeles Clippers came back from a 19 point deficit against the Utah Jazz in the second half to extend their winning streak to 16.
Highlights
Soarin': Thaddeus Young receives the greatest assist handed out by the great Kwame Brown. #NeverForget.
Embarrassed: Chris Copeland, a 6 foot 9 rookie gets his lay up attempt pinned against the back board by a 6 foot Aaron Brooks. Maybe dunk it next time?
Game Winner: This was James Johnson's first made three of the season, and it could not have come in a better time. Somewhere, Brad Miller is proud to have his number on JJ's chest.

Angry DeMarcus Cousins "talks" about his recent suspension from the Sacramento Kings.
DeMarcus Cousins of the Sacramento Kings haven't played a basketball game in a week, he was suspended for one game by the team on December 21st after a verbal altercation with the King's head coach, Keith Smart at halftime. But even though the suspension was lifted on Christmas Eve, Cousins did not travel with the team to Portland to play the Blazers and there are no reports that confirm that he would be playing against the New York Knicks tonight.
Great interview bro, you totally answered those questions. Just a thought, maybe top being a dick and respond to reporters in a professional manner. This is why people think you are immature, you have hold your composure. There is only one person in the league allowed to that type of crap to reporters and his name is Greg Popovich. Is this a sign? They do need someone after Tim Duncan.

NBA Boxing Day involved some hard fouls.
A few players from the NBA took Boxing Day to a literal level, using various types of boxing during games from last night. To make it right for the victims, let's play a game of "Dirty or Not." The rules are simple, watch the video and determine whether it was "Dirty or Not."
First up from the docket, we have a sad Dwight Howard taking out his frustration on Kenneth Faried.
This was definitely intentional and unnecessary. Dwight is lucky he won't get a suspension because Faried's dreads softened the blow to his head. His Laker teammate, Jordan Hill however, took a full Dwight kick to his face and his hair ccould not help him in any way.
Verdict: Not. Just a hard foul that went the wrong way.
J.R. Smith picked up his own flagrant foul after a sneaky shoulder to the airborne Goran Dragic.
Dragic did not return to the game, thanks to the contusions he received to his wrist, hip and back.
Verdict: Dirty, he purposely ran into Dragic and kept his arms to his side to look like it was unintentional.
I saved the best (in this case, worst) for last, we have Dwyane Wade splitting Ramon Sessions's groin in half.
Ramon Session was a little too chill about this, making me believe the kick wasn't as powerful as shown on the video.
Verdict: Dirty, even though it didn't cause much damage to Ramon's future child-creating endeavors, a man should never lift their leg up to another man's party area.

The Round Up - December 26th, 2012.
Stats Rundown
From the Phoenix Suns, Jared Dudley dropped a career high 36 points against the New York Knicks. However, his 5 rebounds, 3 assists and scoring was not enough to get the win. Here's a little foreshadow to why:
Honorable Mention: To Dorell Wright of the Philadelphia 76ers, who took over for the injured Jason Richardson and dominated. He scored 28 points on 8 of 11 shooting, and grabbed 6 rebounds to go with the win over the Memphis Grzzlies.
Glove: Monta Ellis was productive for a change. 20 points (3 for 3 from three), 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals against the struggling Brooklyn Nets. If you are wondering how he got 7 assists, well this is an example of a "Monta" assist:
Duos: LeBron James and Dwyane Wade combined for a approximately 75 percent of the Heat's offense. LeBron had 27 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocks, while his sidekick got 29 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists in the victory over the Charlotte Bobcats. Who, by the way are on a 16 game losing streak. I guess they can only win 7 games per season.
Robin Lopez and Greivis Vasquez combined for 60 percent of the Hornets' points. Coincidentally they also had 56 in total. It is even weirder that one of them scored 29, while the other got 27 in their own victory. Totally not planned. This win over the Orlando Magic snaps their 11 game losing streak.
Rookie Watch: Just give Damian Lillard the ROY already, the award itself doesn't really mean anything but this man is putting on a show. 17 points (7 of 14), 8 rebounds and 11 assists against the DeMarcus Cousins-less Kings team.
Time Machine User: Kobe Bryant went for 40 points (13 of 24), 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 blocks to continue his 10th consecutive 30+ point game. This loss to the Denver Nuggets snaps their 5 game winning streak. You knew it was too good to be true.
Treys: Corey Brewer came off the Denver Nuggets bench to score 27 points in Kobe's face. He shot 6 of 7 from three in the 24 minutes of play.
Troubled Reptiles: Not a single Toronto Raptor starter more than 8 points in the 20 point loss to the San Antonio Spurs.
One Man Comeback: The Detroit Pistons were down 22 points entering the 4th quarter, in what seemed to be another blow out. But then Will Bynum happened. He scored 20 of his total 31 points in the 4th quarter to force overtime, where his team would eventually fall to the Atlanta Hawks. Good Job, Good Effort.
Trick-Tricks: Stephen Curry watched some Jamal Crawford tape.
Posterized: How can you be Mo Harkless?
Clutch: J.R. Smith poops on Jared Dudley's party by himself.

NBA Christmas Basketball Round Up.
Stats Rundown
In the 2012 NBA Finals rematch, LeBron James took out his rival with a near triple double. 29 points (12 of 20 shooting), 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 2 steals to flaunt in Kevin Durant's defeated face.
Honorable Mention: To James Harden's ridiculous efficiency. 7 of 13 from the field for a total 34 points (13 FTA), 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and the destruction of the Bulls.
Boards: Omer Asik didn't hold back against his former Chicago teammates. He went for 18 rebounds and 20 points (9 of 13) to show how much of an idiot Gar Forman was.
Rookie Watch: Jared Sullinger was huge off the bench for the Boston Celtics, scoring 17 points (6 of 7) and grabbing 7 rebounds in the win over the Brooklyn Nets.
Time Machine User: Kobe Bryant won't stop shooting, so it is only normal for him to get another 34 points on 24 shots. The Lakers are now on a 5 game winning streak and just cracked the .500 mark.
Tiny Garbage Man: Nate Robinson remains as the greatest garbage time player, he scored all of his 27 points in the second half to bring the Chicago Bulls back from a 30 point deficit to only 18. The 120 points that the Houston Rockets scored on them was the most points allowed in the Tom Thibodeau era. Which means none of the Bulls had a great Christmas.
Swag: Kobe knows how to rock fur with his jacket and turtle neck. The fur is presumably removed from an animal that the Black Mamba killed with his death stare. (Via: @jeskeets)
Scuffles: Gerald Wallace tried to wedgie Kevin Garnett, while Russell Westbrook misses his daily dose of chill pills.
Pacqiao'd: Metta World Peace gives Steve Novak one of his notorious elbows. Where is Chris Tucker when you need him? (Via: @Beast17sa)
Controversy: Foul? Kind of hard to tell, so I am sticking with the ref's decision.
Highlights
Trade Rumor: This is why you don't trade Pau Gasol, he is too smart not to find a way to be effective.
Shook: Jamal Crawford's go to move never ceases to amaze people.
Blast-Off: Blake Griffin defies every single law of physics.
Duel: LeBron James vs. Kevin Durant is the best basketball.

Merry Christmas.
My NBA friends and I would like to say a few things.
Something tells me that those reindeers are not too reliable for the demanding task of gift delivery that Santa Claus has to do. Don't be too surprised, if you don't see your presents under the tree today.
Yea, Chris (There is no need for the last name because we are bros and on a first name basis) is a little weird.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone, thanks for reading. The blog activity will be a bit slower today due to the amount of Turkey that is stuffed into my face. Enjoy the great Christmas Basketball!

The Round Up - December 23rd, 2012.
Stats Rundown
The Los Angeles Clippers are the hottest team in the NBA right now. It is only fitting that Blake Griffin had 23 points (8 of 12 shooting), 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals and a block to tie the Oklahoma City Thunder's win total, making them second in the west. (The Clips are have one more loss than the Thunder)
Dishin': Another 13 assists for Chris Paul in the 13th straight Clippers win. He had 17 points and 5 steals against the Phoenix suns.
Boards: Nikola Pekovic, the human ogre grabbed 17 rebounds to go with his 21 points in the loss at the Madison Square Garden.
Don't Come it a Come Back: Carmelo Anthony scored 19 of the Knicks' 23 fourth quarter points for the comeback win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Melo finished with 33 points (10 of 25) and 7 rebounds.
Phantom Punch: Carmelo Anthony whacks Andrei Kirilenko twice and then flops to get the call. Have you no shame? (Via: @cjzero)
Even Mike Woodson didn't like that. (Via: @cjzero)
It is not funny, don't abuse your star status to get out of fines.
German Fade away: Dirk Nowitzski returns to the NBA game for the first time after knee surgery. He went for 8 points on 3 of 4 shooting and grabbed 6 boards against the San Antonio Spurs.
Splash: The San Antonio Spurs sets a new franchise record for 20 three point makes in a game. 7 of those were courtesy of Danny Green who only missed one shot in the victory over the Dallas Mavericks.
The Original 3: Manu Ginobili's unnecessary no look passes are the best.
Denied: Shannon Brown didn't want to embarrass Blake Griffin by going to his full 50 inch vertical.
Put Back: Dante Cunningham cleans up Ricky Rubio's mess.
Late Rotation: No stare downs or any taunting from J.R. Smith, I don't even know this guy anymore.
