Matt Bonner stars in baby carrot rap video commercial.

Had this existed 20 years ago, I just might actually like carrots, but nope. Not even Matt Bonner can change me.

Stephen Jackson freestyle raps on ESPN's First Take.

Stephen Jackson, the only man trill enough to leave a NBA championship contending team because he won't admit that Danny "BAJILLION THREES" Green is better than him. Guess it worked out for the best. Cool raps though.

Memphis Grizzlies "We Don't Bluff" Anthem.

Great, as if "WHOAAAAA, I JUST WANT TO FEEL THIS MOMENT," and "Cause all we got is right now," wasn't enough. I am disappointed in you, NBA.

Metta World Peace gets post-career advice from kids.

These kids have a surprising firm grasp of life. I didn't even know the importance of money until I was in high school. As for Metta, dude, you can do whatever you want after your NBA career. Just don't go to North Korea as the ambassador of American Sports Diplomacy. Please.

Iman Shumpert raps with a shoe on his head.

.. And wore his Carmelo Anthony jersey backwards. The youngsters these days have one hell of a take on fashion. But I am not here to teach him how to wear his clothes properly, I just want you to know that he is the best NBA rapper. Sorry Stephen Jackson, please don't tweet me a threat.

The Feed: Miami Heat vs. Atlanta Hawks [11/09/12]

Recap:

The Miami Heat took down the Atlanta Hawks 95 to 89 without Dwyane Wade, who is out with a cold on this Friday Night. LeBron James put in another near triple double performance, with 21 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists, including a clutch basket to close the game. Chris Bosh stepped up in an effort to fill Wade's void, with a game high 24 points and 5 rebounds.

The Hawks kept this game close, fighting back every lead change and never allowing Miami to take control. Jeff Teague led Atlanta with 20 points from 7 of 8 shooting, while dishing 11 assists. The point guard knocked down back to back threes in the fourth as part of the 14 to 3 Hawks run that erased the 9 point deficit the Heat established early in the quarter.

Down by 2 points with a minute remaining, the struggles of Josh Smith (13 points, 6 of 19 shooting, and 8 rebounds) continued, missing two crucial free throws to tie the game. After a costly Hawk's misplay in a second attempt to even the score, the Heat picked up the opportunity and placed the ball in to the hands of the MVP. In the next 30 seconds, LeBron James would make his move at the left side of the key, shredding DeShawn Stevenson, he hits the 15 footer to give his team a four point lead to seal the victory.

Offensive End:

Miami killed Atlanta in the paint, outscoring them 40 to 26. You can put the blame on Al Horford (10 points, and 7 rebounds) for being to passive, against Chris Bosh, a decent defender, he should put up more than 9 shots. Josh Smith had a tough night inside, thanks to Heat's help defense, they forced him to basically pass the ball out.

The Bench of both teams contributed, Ray Allen and Anthony Morrow put in 17 points for their respective teams.

Defensive End:

Both teams played great defense, as I mentioned earlier, the Heat did play the interior well. They held their opponent's field goal percentage to 42 and forced them to take a lot of outside shots.

The Hawks play a pretty mean man defense, they rotate well, but the Heat stars are a bit overwhelming for them.

The Moments:
  • If you caught this game on NBA League Pass, Rapper T.I. did the color commentary for the first half of this game, which is pretty cool. I missed it, but I bet it lacked enunciation.
  • Josh Smith air balled a free throw.
  • In the post game interview, Chris Bosh said that he was as quick as a cat. Yea, he is a weird dude.
  • 2 Chainz was at the game and greeted LeBron right after it, not important.

Shaq trolls Dwight Howard in a freestyle rap.

Here we go again, more shots fired by the NBA Analyst (I say this loosely because he is terrible, take him off the TNT Halftime show, he only cares about farts), but this time in a more familiar format. Dwight Howard has become the second victim of Shaq's hot "rhymes," at this point I am just wondering if the man is just trying to hold on to the attention that he seems desperate for. After all he has been firing off at Dwight with stupid remarks after another in the past few months.

It seems like Shaq is bitter about Dwight taking the "Superman" nickname, which is just incredibly selfish when he has like a million more, he basically comes up with a new one every interview anyways. (Well, according to Wikipedia, I am about 999,983 off, he has 17 nicknames, and none of which is better than the Diesel.)

Iman Shumpert freestyles to Kanye's Clique.

You should know by now that there are only a few NBA players that are given props for their rapping and Iman is in the "elite" list of them. But after seeing this video, it might change your mind.

Ok, so many problems with this and since it is the offseason, I have nothing to do then breaking it down for you.

First off, saying that you got Raymond Felton, Kurt Thomas and Jason Kidd, is not threatening to anyone. Before you go ahead and kill "em", you should be more worried about them suddenly fainting on court and wither to death. Which is very possible as Felton is still out of shape, no matter he says how many pounds he lost, and other two are near/at their 40s'.

Second, I will give him props for actually freestyling the right way, unlike rappers do now a days, where they write their verses out before performing them. With that said, that was not impressive at all, listing your teammates, do not showcase you abilities, no wonder Stephen Jackson called him whack.

Stephen Jackson is the ultimate bro and the best NBA rapper.

Captain Jack recently did an interview with the breakfast club - Power 105.1, and I decided to summarize the 12 minute video for you guys, but you should really watch it, its surprising entertaining.

Notes in chronological order:

Stephen Jackson does not work out during the offseason, because he feels like he's been doing this basketball thing too long.

Stephen Jackson calls every NBA player that raps "WACK", except Kevin Durant who is less WACK, and good enough just to make it to Stack5's album.

When Allen Iverson was mentioned, Stephen Jackson said he eats his lunch.

Acknowledged Shaq was pretty good, but said that he had no swag because of his height and weight, which doesn't really make sense.

He can't vouch for Metta World Peace's music, even though they fought together in malice in the palace incident. The man lost 3 million dollars in that incident and put his career in jeopardy and MWP didn't even thank him. Also a hilarious bit, where MWP actually asked Jackson whether they were gonna get in trouble or not.

Stephen Jackson shot up a strip club to help his teammate out, bonus bro points.

Called off his relationship with his now ex-fiancee on the DAY of the wedding, because the she did not sign the prenuptial within the give time window, and thinks she would have screwed him over, if he did wed.

When Tony Parker's french rap album comes up, he instantly called it wack and terrible. Coach Pop probably hates both of their music.

This pretty much proves Stephen Jackson as one of those best teammates to have on your team and would hate to face on another.
