I don't know how and where Stephen Curry came up with those dance moves, but I am definitely stealing them for the next rap themed party at my grandpa's retirement home.

LeBron James wins the dunk contest in new Nike ad.
None of that made any sense, but a between-the-legs-off-the-backboard two handed dunk after 10 years of waiting? Why Nike? Stop it, we already gave up all hope.

Matt Bonner stars in baby carrot rap video commercial.
Had this existed 20 years ago, I just might actually like carrots, but nope. Not even Matt Bonner can change me.

Dwyane Wade's guide to playing to defense.
Solid advice, Dwyane Wade. If only you were able to take account of your own words and actually stop a shot, then maybe it would have been a better tutorial.

Charles Barkley and Alec Baldwin stars in Capital One March Madness promos.
I thought you were on Weight Watchers, dude. Hot dogs are not okay.
Just look at those drawers, Charles. This is what tube meat will do to you.

If you are interested, you can watch the rest of the promos here, but they are not as nearly funny as the ones above.

Kenny Smith and his family in new Hyundai Commercials.
Just a game? I don't know what Kenny's cute kid is playing, but don't you tell anybody to calm down after beating a video game. If I finish first place in Mario Kart in a 150cc Star Cup, you let me celebrate. Do you know how hard Rainbow Road is, Kenny? One wrong move and you fall off into a black infinite space. Anyways, there are two more commercial featuring the Smiths, both of which share the common theme of bagging Kenny in some sort of way.
Days were better when new jack swing was cool. We, as a society should really embrace it again.
This was my favorite. Sorry, Kenny. You know you were crucial to your teams success.

Chris Paul's twin brother, Cliff Paul rescues Kenny Smith in a State Farm Commercial.
Come on Kenny, your "Jet" days are gone. How are you going to try the infamously overrated Blake Griffin car dunk at the age of 47. Man, you don't even have hair anymore. And how did you end up through the windshield when you approached the car from the side? If anything, you would end up stuck in the window of the passenger seat. There is a lot of investigating to do Cliff Paul, this is obviously an act of insurance fraud.

Jeremy Lin writes the scripts for ESPN's SportCenter.
If I am correct, Jeremy Lin graduated from Harvard with an economics degree. What is this physics nonsenses coming out of his mouth, and how does that recap a basketball game? There are going to be problems when Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless can't comprehend those big words, Jeremy. And believe it or not, people actually listen and agree with their takes regardless of the fact that it is bias.

Blake Griffin went back in time again in two new Kia Commercials.
These Kia commercials just keep getting better.
2002 Blake.
2006 Blake.
These are great, but I can't help to wonder if all this is going to haunt him down the line. At some point, he will muck up and ruin his "bight" future. Don't mess with the space-time continuum, man. Get some rest. The consistent toll of time-traveling can't possibly do your body any good. I still don't get how the younger Blake Griffins keep failing to recognize their future self. They have already met him like 5 times.

Dikembe Mutombo blocks everything in his new Geico commercial.
Living up North is not perfect. There are times in my life when I wished I lived in the U.S.. Times like, clicking on videos that won't play because it is not available in my location. Times like, going through Canadian Netflix only to find a weak selection of TV shows and movies. And then there are times like, watching a basketball game on TV, only to see the same commercial where a Canadian Ron Swanson wannabe tries to sell you Canadian Whiskey, replay itself during every time out. When in America I would get to watch a 46 year old retired NBA player blocking everything in sight and running around like a kid in a candy store. It is not all good in Canada.
Yes, there is cable in Canada for those who don't know. Every igloo is hooked up. No, the ice do not affect the reception at all.

James Harden and Kris Humphries in a New Foot Locker Commercial.
It's great that Kris Humphries can still laugh at himself. Even though he made a terrible life changing decision that has made him one of the most hated men in the NBA. His 72-day marriage with a certain reality star did get him on this commercial. And since everyone will always remember him for the incident anyway (I mean you can never forget it, because Kanye just won't shut up), embracing your inner and outer douche bag is the probably right way to go about it.

Chris Andersen, the Birdman gets crossed up by a tween in Mattress Commercial.
First of all, who in the world in their right mind thinks Chris Anderson can sell Mattresses. Aside from his history of drug abuse and current investigation of his involvement in child pornography. Do you really believe his fo-hawk and body of tattoos can boost your sales. Second, he just got signed by the Miami Heat to a 10 day contract. Which upon the review of this commercial, he won't likely be getting an extension. There is no way he will survive playing Miami Heat's style of defense, if the guy from High School Musical was able to cross him up without any trouble.

Learn How the World Works in Kobe Bryant's New Nike Kobe 8 Shoe Commerical.
Kobe Bryant always have the best commercials, this one was a little weird and random, but when you make shoe snakes, you win. It even includes a baking recipe.
After checking with my local grocery store, I have concluded that everything on that list of ingredients are in fact non-existent, except for the Mamba egg. Which I do not intend to acquire, because I believe that at some point in my life, my doctor probably advised against stealing an egg from the fastest and venomous snake in the world.
My favorite Kobe commercial is still the Puppet campaign that Nike did earlier in 2009, Ankle Insurance would be a close second and the Kobe System was just a little better than this one.

Don't look down when you shake Rajon Rondo's hands.
Fact: Rajon Rondo stands 6 foot 1 and has hands that are 9.5 inches long and 10 inches wide. His hands are larger than the hands of LeBron James. It is so freakishly huge that it is actually proportionate to a man taller than Yao Ming, which is about 7 foot 6 +. I can see why it can be emasculating, especially when you have baby hands.

NBA Christmas basketball hasn't got off to a good start with the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets blow out, but the commercials have been great. Especially ones that involve Kevin Durant. Those are always gold.

Blake Griffin travels back in time to talk to himself again.
Time travel is confusing, shouldn't his younger self recognize him from the last visit? And didn't he tell him to practice free throws instead of dunking. Now, he is going against his own advice and is actually trying to pitch his car that his 10 year old self will not see until the 13 years later. This whole space-time continuum thing, with all the time frames and different dimensions is not making a lot of sense, but if we get to see the same Blake Griffin dunk on people, he can keep doing what he wants.

Cute NBA x TNT Christmas Commercial.
Can someone please call their parents and tell them that bobble heads are the worst presents for kids? I mean, you can't play with it or anything. The 8 year old me would have gone into a full meltdown. Kind of like the N64 kid but fueled with anger instead of the joy that is receiving what you wished for. I can't promise you that my parents wouldn't have tinsel around their neck a second after opening that present. Kids are a lot smarter than you think.
Anyways, (Early) Happy Holidays.

Try Tony Parker's "Le Tony Burger" from France.
I think it is safe to assume that Tony Parker never dunks because someone in the stands is always eating a Le Tony Burger, even though you can only get it in France. Or is it someone on the bench? They do have two other French players on the Spurs. It can't be Nando De Colo because he is way too skinny and only eats his own chicken. So that leaves us with Boris Diaw. For a NBA player that gets significant minutes, you would think he would be in better shape. That is unless he is eating burgers on the bench. You can't blame him, just look at how fancy those French burgers look.
