NBA Rookies put on a dunk showcase at their photo-shoot.

Here are the best of them.

Archie Goodwin of the Phoenix Suns throwing down a reverse between-the-legs dunk.

Tony Mitchell of the Detroit Pistons doing some nasty stuff.

And lastly, we have a Tim Hardway Jr. (NYK) to Tony Mitchell (DET) to Trey Burke (UTA) double alley-oop one handed slam. C-C-C-COMBO.

Deron Williams can't dunk anymore.

Deron Williams has been a shell of his All-Star self after signing a 5 year, $100 million contract with the Brooklyn Nets on an iPad. In this season, he is only averaging 17 points and 7 assists per game, the lowest since this sophomore year, if you count out the 12 games he played in the 2010-11 season. Injuries have definitely taken toll on the point guard, and it has completely taken away his ability to jump.

From New York Post:
Deron Williams admits his ankle injuries have hindered him and hurt him to the point he can’t even dunk. And after undergoing Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment and sitting out last week, the Nets’ star guard acknowledges he needs more time to fully recover...
“Yeah, it’s definitely affected me a lot. I can’t jump. I haven’t dunked. I can’t dunk. Even if I tried off one leg, I can’t dunk. So it’s definitely affected me.
His only dunk attempt of the season was annihilated by Blake Griffin, where he just so happened to also sprain his wrist after plummeting into the ground.

Maybe he should just take this as a sign to not dunk anymore, I mean if Dunk God, Blake Griffin blocks your only dunk of the season, you probably shouldn't try again. Not a great idea to deal with the Wrath of the Dunk God on injured ankles.

It is just best to look back on the good old days.

Javale McGee presents: The Most Javale McGee minute of NBA Basketball.

When Javale McGee was shipped out to Denver, a little part of us died inside. While we are glad that he is developing into a solid NBA player under Coach Karl, we missed the Washington Knucklehead moments. He offered comic relief in those retina torturing games with his volleyball spike blocks that ends up into the cheap seats, the countless unforced turnovers and the most ridiculous dunk attempts during games. But as much as he is trying to shed his image with a healthy amount of consistent play, he is always good for some classic Javale McGee plays and we love him for that.

Kyrie Irving cuts his nails, reads, naps, eats, and shaves during a cinematic dunk.

Kyrie Irving decided to stray from the norm, and used his time wisely while in flight to a spectacular dunk. It is about time we get some change, I am sick of the same old slow motion dunk that always features a man maintaining an intense facial expression, never allowing his eyes to blink, enlarging his mouth/sticking his tongue out according to the distance, dramatic arm windings and the beads of sweat leaving him on the way to the rim. It is all played out, if Kyrie would have actually finished the dunk, it would have been the greatest dunk of all time. Unfortunately we will have to settle for the greatest lay up of all time.

NBA Preseason 2012 - 2013 Bloopers.

The main reason why the NBA has a preseason is because players need to get back in shape, and if they ate a little too much and slacked over the summer, they will embarrass themselves, missed dunks and all.

The entire Clippers team dressed as Men in Black for Halloween.

This is the laziest Halloween costume idea ever, these are the ones people come up with when they want free candy, but don't really want to wear a real costume. I know this for a fact, because I tried it myself when I was 15, except I used a broken end of a hockey stick with electric tape as that thing they use to erase people's memory, the neuralyzer thing. It is unacceptable for NBA players who are suppose to wear suits to basketball games and later use them as "costumes."

Pretty sure Snoop Lion is a Lakers fan, maybe he saw the Portland game and realized this 4 all-star on the team is not really working out.

I am guessing, since Matt Barnes was suspended, he didn't get the memo and decided to go with the super original Joker, because no one has done it yet.
