Of course that is because I use the same method, but instead of cologne I use febreeze and instead of fresh new/washed clothes, I use it on 2 week old hoodies that I subconsciously refuse to wash, due to a lack of short term memory, and laziness, duh.

What a jerk. Scaring the Lakers were funny and all, but this is taking it too far, Bango. The ending was pretty creative, though, tying in Dwyane Wade's nightmare scene in the Gatorade commercial gets you a few bonus points on my imaginary NBA mascot power ranking.

NBA Playoffs Day 4 Round Up - April 24th, 2013.

Miami Heat 98 - Milwaukee 86

Insane, hectic, chaotic, and weird were a few words you can come up with when watching the reigning champs struggle in one of their worst games of the season. The pace was wild to start, and Miami just looked rush. They were trying to take care of business early and it did more bad than good. The Bucks are not a bad team and when you turn the ball over at the rate the Heat was in the first half, they can make it a game. Milwaukee played them close through all 3 quarters, holding LeBron to one of his worse shooting nights, with only 19 points on 6 of 14 shooting, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course with one superstar down, another one steps up. Dwyane Wade had 21 on 8 of 14 and 7 boards, you can't stop them all. The momentum shifted in the 4th quarter, and the Heat, in a blink of an eye, went on a 12-0 run in the opening minutes, creating margin that the Bucks never recovered from. It also helped that the back court of the Bucks combined for 5 of 21 from the field for 15 points. They were just throwing prayers up mid way through the 4th. Only three Milwaukee players were in double digits. Ersan Ilyasova led the way with 21 (9 of 14) and 6 boards. This series is done. Let's move on.

New York Knicks 87 - Boston Celtics 71

The Celtics looked old. Their age has always been an area of concern, but they have fought back from way too many battles for us to merely dismiss them. Last night, however, told a different narrative. Boston was absolutely gassed by the 4th quarter. The defense that heavily relied on Kevin Garnett crumbled when he got in foul trouble. It took them nearly 24 seconds to get a shot up in every possession and nothing went in. Everything they worked for in the first half went to waste. The sad part was that, they had the Knicks. They outworked them, forced turnovers, caught them sleeping in transition, and got actual bench contribution. An upset was seemingly possible in the second half, and then this happened.

23 points on 19.4 percent shooting from the floor, the lowest field goal percentage in any half over the last 15 seasons. Make no mistake, the Knicks did up their defense in the second half, but it was in no way that effective. The Celtics just couldn't hit anything. Their offensive sets were a mess. The Knicks' sets weren't much better, relying on large doses of ISO. But they have Carmelo Anthony, who is capable of going off for 34 points (11 of 24) and 4 rebounds. The Celtics, have a shell of Paul Pierce, 18 points (8 of 19), 6 rebounds and 6 assists on a minute restriction. The next game will be played at the TD Garden in Boston, hopefully things will turn around as the Celtics pray to even the series at home.

Golden State Warriors 131 - Denver Nuggets 117

I know the final score suggests a high scoring game, but that's not all the case..SIKE. It was a shootout in mile high city and there was something special about watching the Warriors shoot OVER 9000% (sorry, I had to) from the field to tie the series up at 1 game a piece.

Game notes: Andre Iguodala went off early, with 12 points in the first quarter, and then he completely disappeared on both ends of the floor, finishing with a total 18 points, and 7 assists.

With the injury to David Lee, the Warriors went super small, starting Jarrett Jack, who seemed more content to draw fouls then passing it to the hot hand (Stephen Curry). Jack is great for this team, but he has to show control. Tunnel vision is not going to help you advance to the next round.

Also Harrison Barnes looked great at the 4. 24 points (9 of 14), and 6 boards is a pretty good indicator of his abilities. His speed and athleticism absolutely destroyed his opposition.

Kenneth Faried's return lacked the usual motor. Dude is definitely hurt and should have sat this one out.

After a slow first quarter, Stephen Curry went NOVA for the next three quarters, hitting everything in sight. Especially shots off of those nasty Andrew Bogut screens. He finished with 30 points (13 of 23), 5 rebounds, 13 dimes, 3 steals and one turnover. His back court partner, Klay Thompson, had 21 on 8 of 11 shooting.

This Warriors' win snaps Denver's 24 game home winning streak. The Nuggets have not lost in the Pepsi Center for 3 months until yesterday.

Final note - Golden State shot 65 percent from the field, and 56 from three, something that has never been done in a NBA playoff history. Cool.

The Round Up - April 3rd, 2013.

There is only 2 weeks left in the regular season and as some of you might know, NBA basketball at this time is not the prettiest and last night was a good example of that. But I am still here and will recap them anyway.

Clipped Wings: After going off for 50 points on Tuesday night, Carmelo Anthony came up with a sub-par 40 points (17 of 27) and 5 rebounds performance against the Atlanta Hawks. J.R. Smith came off the bench for 19 points on 8 of 15 shooting to help push the Knicks to their 10th straight win, making it the longest streak in franchise history in 19 years. For the Hawks, it was Kyle Korver that took on all of the offensive responsibilities, going for 25 points (9 of 14), 6 of 10 from beyond the arc and 6 boards, while the rest of his teammates made little to zero impact in the 13 point loss.

Green All Over: In honor of Paul Pierce's first newborn, Prince Paul Pierce (no, seriously that is his name) who came out of his mother's womb with a chariot and everything on Tuesday night, the Boston Celtics celebrated Pierce's first day of fatherhood with a win over the visiting Detroit Pistons. Jeff Green led all scorers with 34 points on 13 of 19 shooting and 6 rebounds. Paul Pierce showed no signs of fatigue, adding 17 points and 5 rebounds in 33 minutes of play. Despite getting outscored by 30 points in the paint, the Celtics held their own from the perimeter, hitting 51 percent of their shots from the field, where as the Jose Calderon-less Pistons went for 37 percent. Greg Monroe had a team-high 24 points (11 of 22) and 17 rebounds in the losing effort. With this win, the Celtics have clinched playoff berth, but whether they be the 7th or 8th seed depends on the next couple of games.

In the Wild: The Minnesota Timberwolves' 3 point shooting is an actual thing now, they are still the worst in the league from long distance but they were hitting everything against the unfortunate Milwaukee Bucks, who just happened to be on the end of the rare shooting outbreaks from the Wolves. Ricky Rubio was as magnificent as his beautiful Spanish hair, doing a little bit of everything with 19 points (7 of 12), 5 of 6 from three, 12 assists and 8 steals in the victory. Nikola Pekovic ate the Milwaukee front court alive, eating his way to 27 points (11 of 14), and 8 boards. The other Euro player from the Bucks was pretty good too, Ersan Ilyasova scored a game-high 29 points on 12 of 21 shooting and grabbed 12 rebounds.

Jet Fueled: In the meeting of old friends, the Houston Rockets took gentle care of the Sacramento Kings, defeating them in every single quarter on the night of the Sacramento-Seattle meeting with Mr. David Stern. In their return to the line up after missing games due to injury and illness, James Harden and Chandler Parsons combined for 50 points (21 for Harden, 29 for Parsons) for the Rockets. The Kings' did not have the greatest time shooting the ball, going 34 for 87, 39 percent from the field in their 3rd straight loss at home.

A Few Notes: Still without Ty Lawson, the Denver Nuggets managed to clean off the Utah Jazz in the 17 point win on the road to make way for the Lakers for the 8th spot in the West. The Nuggets got help from just about everybody, with 7 players in double figures.

On an off night for the Philadelphia 76ers or specifically Jrue Holiday, the Charlotte Bobcats with some late game heroics from Gerald Henderson took advantage in their 18th win of the season. Jrue Holdiay was absolutely horrid, going for only 5 points on 2 of 24 shooting. 2 of 24 shooting, sorry I had to repeat it to make sure you knew what I was talking about. Gerald Henderson was the lone bright light in this game, he scored 4 critical points of his total 24 (10 of 18) late in this game to seal it for Charlotte.

Fantasy Shoutouts: The rookie all the way from Lithuania, Jonas Valaciunas went off for a career high 24 points on 4 of 7 shooting, and 16 of 18 from the charity stripe. He also nabbed 10 rebounds in the win over the Washington Wizards, which puts an end to their playoff contention.

Marson Brooks, in his second year also went off for his career high, going off for 27 points (12 of 16) and 7 dimes in the 18 point victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was a perfect 10 for 10 to start, so for Christ's sake, PJ, give the young man more minutes.

Ugh. Don't you hate it when you have a game to play in a few hours and on your way to the dressing room, a large inflatable deer in a basketball uniform jumps out of no where to scare the living daylights out of you? I know, just the worst. But it could have been worse, as a self-proclaimed expert of NBA mascots, I know for a fact that Clutch the Bear, Houston Rockets mascot would have done way more damage, just not sure who will end up on the least desirable end of it.

The Round Up - March 28th, 2013.

Royalty: DeMarcus Cousins went full on Beast mode last night, feasting on the weak souls of the Phoenix Suns, with 34 points (12 of 16), and a helping of 14 rebounds in 30 minutes of play. His tiny teammate, Isiah Thomas cleaned up the leftovers with 23 points on 6 of 10 shooting and 8 assists. There really weren't anything the Suns could have done in this game to slow the Kings down. I mean what you can you do when a team scores 62 points in your paint, compared to the 42 you had in theirs? Defense, anyone? There was a lone bright light for the Suns, Luis Scola did score 25 points (10 of 13) and grabbed 7 rebounds in the losing effort.

Empty Lake: With a chance to pass Wilt Chamberlain for 4th most points in NBA history, Kobe Bryant came up 5 points short, finishing with a game-high 30 points on 6 of 17 shooting in the loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. Dwight Howard added 15 points (6 of 8) and 15 boards. The Bucks starting line up completely outmatched the opposition, combining for 95 of the teams' total 113. LARRY SANDER! led the way with 21 points (8 of 11) and 13 rebounds. While Brandon Jennings chipped in for 20 points (7 of 14) and 7 dimes against his hometown team. This Lakers loss is huge and could potentially comeback to haunt them, as it gives the Utah Jazz a shot to reclaim their 8th spot in the West with a win over the Portland Trail Blazers today.

Update - More bad news for the Lakers, Kobe Bryant has a bone spur in his left foot and is out indefinitely.

More Beards: The beards won't be coming off for another two games, everyone. In the much anticipated .500 beard game, where several members of the Dallas Mavericks were prepared to rid themselves of the facial hair they have grown in their winning drought, the results were negative, with the Mavs falling to two games behind .500 after this 25 point loss to the Indiana Pacers. Dirk Nowitzki did all he could, going off for a team-high 21 points on 10 of 20 shooting and 7 rebounds. With the exception of Vince Carter, who came off the bench for 14 points on 13 shots, no one scored more than 10 points. And to top that off, Dallas, as a team shot a depressing 39 percent from the field. Indiana, on the other hand. did not have that problem, hitting 48 percent of their shots. Paul George had 24 points (10 of 17), 8 boards and 6 assists.

Gold Rush: The Denver Nuggets dominated the paint in the win against the Oklahoma City Thunder, outscoring the Western Conference Champions 72 to 50. It was an unusual night for the Thunder as the third best 3 point shooting team in the NBA go 4 of 25 (16 percent) from beyond the arc. Kevin Durant led the way with 34 points (10 of 23), 7 rebounds and 5 assists. His partner, Russell Westbrook had 25 points on 10 of 21 shooting and 6 dimes in the loss. For Denver, it was Ty Lawson that comes up big again, going off for 25 points on 8 of 13 shooting. The first half of his season might not have been pretty, but he is blooming at the right time for the Nuggets. On his 37th birthday, Andre Miller did not break a knee, he instead came off the bench for 20 points (6 of 11), 7 boards and 9 assists. Fun fact, Denver, including this win, have now won season series with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Memphis Grizzlies, and Los Angeles Clippers. Of course this doesn't mean anything in the playoffs, but you never know. They might just be primed for a deep run if they can get home court before the end of the regular season.

Retina Damage: In this display of how not to play basketball, well, at least fun basketball, the Indiana Pacers and Orlando Magic began the game with a combined 26 field goal percentage and held each other to 19 and 12 points respectively in the first quarter. From then on things would get worst, mostly for the Magic, as they finish with a point total of 73 points on 32 percent shooting and had only two players in double figures. Indiana out-rebounded Orlando by 21 for the 22 point win. Paul George had a game-high 19 points (7 of 14) and 5 boards.

California Love: The Sacramento Kings outscored the Los Angeles Clippers 38 to 18 in the final quarter to comeback for the win at home. Marcus Thornton came off the bench for 25 points on 7 of 14 shooting. DeMarcus Cousins chipped in for 17 points (6 of 10) and 11 rebounds. With this loss, the Clippers drop from the 3rd in the West to fifth, giving way to the Memphis Grizzlies and Denver Nuggets in the battle for home court advantage. Blake Griffin had 26 points (11 of 14) and 5 boards.

Fear the Deer: Back court duo of Monta Ellis and Brandon Jennings have picked up their play since the signing of J.J. Redick and the results don't lie. Ever since they acquired the former Duke product, the Milwaukee Bucks have only lost 5 games of their last 13, while they were 26-27 prior to the signing. Monta Ellis did a little bit of everything last night, going for 21 points (8 of 18), 9 boards, 8 dimes, 3 steals, and 3 blocks. Brandon Jennings added 24 points on 20 shots and 7 assists in the win over the Portland Trail Blazers. Despite hitting 13 threes at 50 percent, the Blazers just could get any contribution from other players not named LaMarcus Aldridge and Wesley Matthews. Matthews led all scorers with 28 points on 10 of 20 shooting (7 of 11 from three). LaMarcus Aldridge (21 points 15 boards) joins David Lee and LeBron James as one of the three players with five straight 20 point, 10 rebound games this year.

Wild Buck: Before the start of the second half, the Milwaukee Bucks were down by 10 points and had only 44 in the first. But that all changed when Monta Ellis, the human fire cracker, blew up for 25 of his 39 points (13 of 22) in the 45 point Milwaukee fourth quarter that pushed the Orlando Magic out of winning distance.

Ellis wasn't alone in the scoring department, his front court partner, Brandon Jennings went for 15 points and 14 assists. Their resident Turkish man, Ersan Ilyasova added 20 points and 11 boards. The Magic on the other hand, got quite of a contribution from their rookie, Moe Harkless. He had a career high 23 points (9 of 17) and 9 rebounds.

The Pack: In the return of Nikola Pekovic and Andrei Kirilenko, the Minnesota Wolves, with their most able-bodied squad of the past 2 weeks took on New Orleans Hornets at the Target Center. Derrick Williams erupted for a career high 28 points (9 of 16) and 7 rebounds. Down 4 with less than 50 seconds to play, the Wolves would do the impossible and go on a 6-0 run to end the game. The Hornets had a shot to win the game in the final seconds, but Eric Gordon's attempt would get denied by Andrei Kirilenko. *Sad Trombone*

Flame Trails: In the place where the winning streak that is tied for the second longest in NBA history all started, the Miami Heat would improve to 22 straight with the victory over the Toronto Raptors. Despite getting out-rebounded 51 to 26, the Heat would go 58 percent from the field, hitting everything in sight, so rebounding opportunities would be quite limited. Dwayne Wade notched his career 4000th assist with his 24 points (10 of 15) and 9 assists performance. His better half, LeBron James had 22 points (6 of 12), 12 boards and 8 assists. The Raptors played the defending champs pretty well all through out 3 quarters and headed to fourth down only three, with the score at 76 to 73. But the Raptors are the Raptors and the Heat are still the Heat, so naturally, Miami would outscore them 32 to 18 in the fourth as they go on the road in pursuit for 23rd in Boston. Rudy Gay led all Raptors with 27 points on 11 of 20 shooting and 8 rebounds.

Shooter's Stroke: The Golden State Warriors secured the 6th spot in the West in this win against the Houston Rockets. Both teams struggled early with putting the orange ball into the hoop, but it was Houston that had it worst, shooting a season low 20 percent in the first half. The Warriors, of course used it to their advantage to build a lead that their opponents would eventually fail to comeback from. James Harden and Jeremy Lin had 21 points each in the losing effort. While Golden State's Stephen Curry go off for 29 points (12 of 22) and 11 assists. Klay Thompson chipped in for 26 on 10 of 18.

Storm The Town: Russell Westbrook set Dallas on fire last night, as the Oklahoma City Thunder point guard lit up the Mavericks on 13 of 23 shooting for 35 points, 6 rebounds and 6 dimes. Kevin Durant wasn't too bad himself exploding for 19 of his total 31 points (10 of 19) in the fourth quarter in the win. However, it was neither of the superstars that would put the game away for the Thunder. That job belonged to Thabo Sefolosha, who hits the dagger from thirteen feet out to the Mavs out of their misery. Dirk Nowitzski had 23 points (8 of 10) and 7 rebounds.

A Few Notes: Still without Tyson Chandler (stiff neck) and Carmelo Anthony (knee), the New York Knicks drops fourth straight in their West Coast road trip, losing each game by an average of 20 points, including this loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday afternoon. The Knicks shot 36 percent from the field, could not buy a bucket, while the Clippers went 45 percent all around, led by Chris Paul's 20 points (6 of 12), 4 rebounds and 8 dimes.

In their second game without Kobe Bryant, the Los Angeles Lakers goes on to defeat the Sacramento Kings  on 43 points from the bench, which is comprised of only two players. Antawn Jamison went off for a game-high 27 points on 8 of 14 shooting (5 of 8 from three), and 9 boards. Steve Blake added another 16 points (6 of 11), 5 rebounds and 8 assists. On top of this silliness, Metta World Peace led all Lakers starts with 22 points on 10 of 13 shooting. In this new bizarro world that we live in, Isiah Thomas got 26 points on 20 shots and 6 assists for the Kings.

Fantasy Shoutout: To the Atlanta Hawks duo of Al Horford and Josh Smith. Horford had 22 points (11 of 21), 11 rebounds and 4 steals. While his back court mate, Smith went for 21 points on 9 of 14 shooting, 7 boards and 5 assists in the win over the Brooklyn Nets. Jeff Teague, who returned for the first time since his injury, came off the bench for a career high 15 assists and added another 11 to the Hawks' final score.

When you lose to the Washington Wizards by 13 points and get ejected for committing two technical fouls, any normal player would get a little upset and in most situations will have a few unpleasant things to say to the officials as they leave the court. But not LARRY SANDERS!, he handled it with great grace, class and, of course, zero hints of sarcasm. Good job, whistle blowing old dudes. It's been awhile since I have seen an actual thumbs up. (Facebook and YouTube doesn't count, you guys.)

Cold Welcome: In his return to Orlando for the first time as a member of the Lakers, Dwight Howard got more than just boos, creative signs and custom made "Coward" jerseys. Dwight, fueled by the need to make sure his former city misses him, went off for a game-high 39 points (7 of 13), 25 of 39 from the free throw line, 16 boards and zero turnovers. His 39 free throw attempts in this game not only breaks the record of this NBA season, Shaq's Laker record of 32, but also ties his own record for most in a game. The Lakers have now won 9 of their last 11 games since the All-Star break and most of it can be attributed to a healthier looking Dwight, who is slowly returning to form. His former teammate and best friend, Jameer Nelson had 21 on 19 shots and 7 assists in the 9 point Magic loss.

Smoking Gun: Despite going off for a season high 35 points in the first quarter and outscoring their opponents 54 to 36 in the paint, the Milwaukee Bucks would fall to the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavs, who have now won 4 straight, is getting closer to shaving their beards, with only 3 wins away from the .500 mark. Dirk Nowitzki went for his third double double of the season, hitting 7 of his 13 shots for 19 points and 11 rebounds. Vince Carter was huge off the bench, exploding for 13 of his total 23 points in the 4th to take the W. Monta Ellis had the most Buck points, going for 32 points on 12 of 24 shooting and 9 dimes.

Bottom Up: The worst three point shooting basketball team in the NBA didn't shoot like the worst last night against the shorthanded San Antonio Spurs, who were without Tim Duncan, Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker. The Minnesota Timberwolves just as injured, pulled through, holding their opponent down to a season low 10 points in the second quarter to completely shift momentum to their favor, giving them a 15 point lead in the half, which they added to finish with a 24 point win. Ricky Rubio led the way with his first career triple double, going for 21 points (9 of 17), 13 boards and 12 assists. The Spurs got a taste of what it was like to be the Timberwolves on that night, shooting a very Minnesota-y 35 percent from the field and 31 from downtown (still higher than the Wolves' season average of 30).

Spring Cleaning: The Memphis Grizzlies took care of the Portland Trail Blazers on the road for their 5th straight win. The unsung hero of the Grizzlies, Mike Conley finished with 14 points on 12 shots, 15 assists and 4 steals to continue his 53 game streak with at least one steal or more. In his first game back from injury, Zach Randolph chipped in for a solid 19 points and 10 boards. His front court mate, Marc Gasol put in an additional 20 points (8 of 13) and 5 dimes in the win. The rookie of the Blazers, Damian Lillard had his 7 straight game with 20 points or more, with 30 points and 7 assists on the night. LaMarcus Aldridge tried to help with his 28 points and 10 rebounds, but their shallow bench just couldn't offer anything.

A Few Notes: The Charlotte Bobcats clinched their third win in 2013 in the 26 point victory over the Paul Pierce-less Boston Celtics  With this win, they double their total victories from last season (which was 7) in 2 fewer games. They were led by Gerald Henderson who erupted for a career-high 35 points on 11 of 19 shooting.

The Miami Heat extends their 19 game winning streak in the 17 point win over the Atlanta Hawks. Which ties the 2008-09 Boston Celtics for the most consecutive wins by a defending champion. Dwyane Wade scored a game-high 23 points (9 of 18), dished out 6 assists and stole 5 basketballs. Fantasy Shoutout: John Wall went off for 27 points on 7 of 15 shooting, 7 rebounds and 14 dimes in the loss to the Kyrie Irving-less Cleveland Cavaliers.

Brook Lopez had 26 points (10 of 15), 5 rebounds and all the bragging right in the family after yamming one on his twin brother in the Brooklyn win over the New Orleans Hornets. Deron Williams had an impressive line of his own, going for 21 on 19 shots and 13 assists.

Eric Gordon of the future Pelicans scored a team-high 24 points (8 of 17) and got a cool dunk in their 4th straight loss on the road.

Wild Rush: In Monta Ellis's return to Oakland, it was Brandon Jennings that exploded for 31 points (10 of 16), 6 of 11 from beyond the arc and 10 assists in the win over the Golden State Warriors. Monta Ellis wasn't too bad himself, going for 26 points (10 of 19), 5 boards and 5 dimes against his former teammates. The shooting woes of the Warriors continued on Saturday night, as their leading man, Stephen Curry shot 7 of 18 for 16 points and 10 assists. Carl Landry added a more efficient 7 of 10 shooting for his 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Seed Fights: It wasn't pretty, but the Phoenix Suns held on to defeat the Houston Rockets to help their rivals, the Lakers, to get a step closer to clinch playoff berth. Jared Dudley left the bench to put up 22 points on 8 of 12 shooting and 7 assists. Goran Dragic chipped for another 18 points (6 of 13). Following his 3 of 17 shooting night on Friday, James Harden went 11 of 17 from the field for 38 points, 8 assists and a sightly 8 turnovers. The Rockets will have a chance to get their revenge as they take on the Suns in Houston for a rematch tonight.

A Few Notes: The Utah Jazz without Paul Millsap, had Al Jefferson back for his first game since his injury, but nothing went their way against the New York Knicks last night. Utah shot an abysmal 39 percent from the field, with no one in the starting line up in double figures. The Knicks, still without Melo, got their scoring punch from J.R. Smith, who went off for 24 points (10 of 18) and 6 rebounds, while his fellow bench mate, Steve Novak shoot 5 of 10 from three for 20 points in the win.

The Memphis Grizzlies have won their 12 of their last 13 games with this victory over the New Orleans Hornets. Mike Conley led the charge with 22 points on 8 of 15 shooting, and 8 assists. Hornets rookie, Anthony Davis scored a team-high 20 points on 20 shots and snagged 18 points in the losing effort.

Fantasy Shoutouts: In the game no one should ever watch, the Washington Washington destroyed the Charlotte Bobcats 104 to 87. Kemba Walker of Cats had 29 points (11 of 25), 6 assists and 4 steals. Wizards' Trevor Ariza came off the bench for 26 points, 7 of 11 from the field and 10 boards. Yes, this is real.

The Denver Nuggets took out the injury depleted Minnesota Timberwolves last night. Ty Lawson led the way with a game-high 32 points (12 of 17), and a perfect 4 of 4 from downtown to get Denver, their 13th straight win at home.

Blake Griffin and friends dunked all over the Milwaukee Bucks.

It must be fun to actually fly for a couple of seconds. But than again, I would much rather be on that bench. Ronny Turiaf seems like a really fun dude. I have a lot of ideas to expand his celebration repertoire and together we would be an absolute nightmare for any teams that dare to shoot corner threes near our space.

You know you are good at dunking, when even your teammate, who have seen you do these acrobatic tricks a thousand times, flinch at your aerial assault. There is nobody in the world that would want their face near that basketball after it gets slammed through the hoop. Nobody.

Buckcourt Duo: In the fight for the permanent 8th seed in their respective conference, the Milwaukee Bucks' backcourt duo triumphs over Utah Jazz's front court duo of Paul Millsap (22 points, 14 rebounds) and Derrick Favors (23 points, 15 rebounds), who stepped in for the injured Al Jefferson. Monta Ellis had the best game of his season, going off for 34 points on 15 of 21 shooting, including clutch baskets down the stretch to get his team into the playoffs. Following his 19 assists performance on Saturday, Brandon Jennings exploded for 20 points (8 of 14), and dished out a just as impressive 17 assists. Jennings, down 3 with 13 seconds left on the clocks hits a tough three pointer to force over time. Enes Kanter had an opportunity win the game for the Jazz  but he would miss at point blank range. Utah has gotten 0 points and little to no production from three of their starters for the second time in 5 games. It might be about time for some line up changes.

Of course, Brandon Jenning will shoot the tougher shot, and hit it. It is only natural.

Don't Call it a Comeback: Down 22 mid way through the second quarter, the New York Knicks were a sure bet to lose to the Cleveland Cavaliers after Carmelo Anthony left the game with a knee injury late in the first half. But, who are we kidding, the Cavs are still Cavs and they would get outscored 72 to 45 by the Knicks after their superstar trips over himself. With no one near double figures in the New York starting line up, they relied on Amare Stoudemire's 22 (10 of 15), and 6 boards off the bench. Kyrie Irving, who missed the last 3 games with a knee injury, returned for the first time last night. The Sophomore had 22 points (9 of 20), 5 rebounds and 6 dimes. Marreese Speights went off for a game-high 23 points on 10 of 14 shooting and 8 rebounds. Down three with less than a second to go, Kyrie had a chance to tie the game, but he would get blocked by Tyson Chandler, who may or may not have bribed the refs in the win.

The Orlando Magic came back from a 17 point deficit against the New Orleans Hornets to win one on the road. Arron Affalo led his team with 26 points (10 of 20), 5 boards and 5 assists. Hornets rookie, Anthony Davis had a pretty good game, going for 17 points (6 of 13), 15 rebounds and 4 blocks.

Scorged: It was not LeBron James, but Dwyane Wade  that carved up the Minnesota defense for 32 points (15 of 23), 7 rebounds and 10 assists. LeBron chipped in for 20 points on 9 of 16 shooting and 10 boards to extend the Heat's winning streak to 15. They have won every game in the streak by an average margin of 12 points. Despite forcing their opponent into 24 turnovers, the Timberwolves could not hit anything, shooting 38 percent from the field. Derrick Williams scored team-high 25 on 22 shots and snagged 10 boards in their sixth straight loss.

Gun Show: Up by 7 before heading into the 4th quarter of the no defense exhibition between the Raptors and Warriors, everything looked good for Toronto. That was until they crumbled in the 4th, going 0 for 9 from three to allow the Dubs to score 42 points in the quarter, which were 14 more than the Raptors, to send the only NBA team in Canada on the road with a 5th straight loss. Andrea Bargnani had his best game since his elbow injury, going for 26 points (8 of 18) and 7 boards. Rudy Gay added another 26 points, shooting yet another inefficient 10 of 22 from the field. Amir Johnson on the other hand, went for a perfect 10 of 10, in his 23 points and 15 rebounds performance off the bench. For the Warriors, David Lee got himself 29 points (12 of 21), 11 boards and 5 dimes. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson dropped 26 and 22 points respectively.

A Few Notes: Denver improves to league best 26-3 at home in the win against the Atlanta Hawks at the Pepsi Center. The Nuggets outscored the Hawks 70 to 42 in paint. Corey Brewer came off the bench for a game-high 22 points, hitting 11 of his 20 shots. Josh Smith scored his 10,000th point, while his teammate, Al Horford got 18 points (9 of 16) and 13 rebounds to end their 6 game road trip.
