Mario Chalmers throws the ball out of bounds off Roy Hibbert's head.

TAG. YOU'RE IT. Via: @cjzero
With Roy Hibbert being 7'2" and all, there's a lot of anatomy to throw the ball at, unfortunately Mario Chalmers had no other choice but to go for the head during his short bit of hang time. Sorry, not sorry?

LeBron James beats Ray Allen and Mario Chalmers in 3-point contest, makes them do push-ups.

Solid push-ups there, Mario Chalmers. Some would say that it was as solid as your top 10 point guard proclamation. Which makes you totally legit.

LeBron James's Timeout Dance.

Games, timeouts, warm ups, nothing can hold the best dancer in the NBA back. Mario Chalmers must be really embarrassed about showing his one dance move, which is totally understandable. If you only have one move, you save it for a special occasion. Plus, it is about time he gets back at LeBron for treating him like a whipping boy. You go Mario, show them that you are your own man.

Chris Bosh could not get high fives from Mario Chalmers and Ray Allen.

Via: @cjzero
Mario Chalmers and Ray Allen didn't leave Chris Bosh hanging because they didn't see him. They were more than aware of the situation, which was exactly why they didn't give him five. You see, Chris Bosh, as talented as he is a basketball player, doesn't have the greatest hand eye coordination. He suffers from a disease called "botcheveryhighfiveosis." It is rare condition that only occurs in 1/7 billion people, making him the sole person on Earth to be unable to complete high-fives in multiple scenarios. Mario and Ray were only trying to save Bosh from an unwanted exchange. They didn't know that it just made Bosh look weirder.

A brief history of Bosh's "botcheveryhighfiveosis."

Number one: Uphigh, down lo...TOO SLOW. (Via: Funny or Die)
Number two: AIR-BALL. (Via: Gifulmination)
Number three: This is the exact reason why fans believed that Bosh used to be a dinosaur. Not because he played for the Raptors, but for the inability to control their arms. Seriously, it's like he got them a few days ago.

As of now, there is no cure for "botcheveryhighfiveosis," and no research is planned to be done. Hopefully it stays that way, because these moments are priceless.

The Round Up - January 12th, 2013.

Stats Rundown

If you picked yesterday to miss NBA games, you made a good choice. The basketball wasn't pretty, but players were dropping baskets left to right.

30s': Blake Griffin and Arron Affalo scored 30 points against each other. While Blake shot 15 of 22, grabbed 8 rebounds and handed out 7 assists, Arron did not back down from the fight. The UCLA product knocked down 10 of his 19 shots, took down 7 boards and also gave out 7 dimes.

The difference was that only one of them nearly killed J.J. Redick. Unforunately he didn't pass away, because he would go on to hit the three point dagger that wins the game for Orlando.

Jrue Holiday got himself 30 points, 3 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals in the win over the Houston Rockets. It's too bad James Harden embarrassed the crap out of him.

Career Highs: Little Isiah Thomas is making everyone under 6 foot proud. Despite the 29 point loss to the Miami Heat, the Kings would not have even scored 70 points, if he didn't go score a career high of 34 points on 13 of 22 shooting (6 of 8 from three), and dish out 5 assists.

It's been a cold shooting month of December for Mario Chalmers, but he decied to HEAT it up again in January. He went 10 of 13 from behind the arc for a career high 34 points. His 10 threes not only ties Brian Shaw's record, it also makes him the first player in the Heat big 3 era to lead the team in scoring.

Shout Out: To David West's first career triple double, 14 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists in the victory over the Charlotte Bobcats.

Boards: Since moving to Orlando, Nikola Vucevic has been a double-double machine, he had 18 points (7 of 9), and 15 rebounds at the Staples Center.

Fundamental: Here we have Marcus Morris teaching you how to properly situate your face when shooting a jumper over the out stretched arms of your opponent.

Guess Who's Back: John Wall returns to the court for the first time since discovering a stress injury to his left knee cap in September. He came off the bench for 14 points (5 of 11), 2 rebounds and 4 assists in a Washington Wizards' victory over the Atlanta Hawks. I think it is safe to say he's made a full recovery because he was zipping by every Atlanta defender thrown at him, hopefully he can make the Wizards watchable again. My eyes have suffered enough.

Grant Hill also came back yesterday from the bone bruise in his knee that has kept him off the floor in the past 3 months. He had 2 points and 2 rebounds in 6 minutes of play.

Don't Come it a Comeback: The Utah Jazz came back from a 15 point deficit in the 4th quarter to beat the Detroit Pistons.

Scorched: The Phoenix Suns got their 2,000 franchise victory last night, against the Chicago Bulls. All you need to know was that Michael Beasley was actually efficient and the Bulls just couldn't stop him. That is just weird to type.

Highlights

Censorship: Don't read DeMarcus Cousin's lips after the dunk, it is not family friendly.

Weird Sequence: Ish Smith must have hurt his bum really bad. Cool name though.

Aerial Tricks: Sometimes when something that used to be impressive is overdone, all you need to do is increase the difficulty for yourself.

NBA Officials secretly works for the Miami Heat.

Okay that is probably not true, but the ref can blame those damn natural body reflexes for giving Mario Chalmers an assist, LeBron James a lay up and receiving two Atlanta Hawks frowns.
