A Heat fan won a hug from LeBron James and $75,000 for making a half court shot.

Last night, at the Detroit Pistons vs. Miami Heat game, Michael Drysch became the luckiest man alive. Not only was he given a chance to shoot from half court to win $75,000, he actually made the basket. On top of all of that, he won a hug from the best basketball player in the world from his favorite team. There is no greater moment for a NBA fan than winning a large sum of money and sharing that glorious moment with your beloved athlete. While I am not sure why he went with the unconventional hook shot, instead of the regular heave or underrated granny shot (so underrated), it worked and everyone is happy. Well, except for that guy in Atlanta, who landed a more difficult task of getting the ball stuck on the rim from half court and only got to fill his pockets with $5,000 dollars.

Congratulations Michael, you were lucky that Russell Westbrook wasn't around to block your shot like he did with the Denver Nuggets mascot, because that would be a real shame.

An Atlanta Hawks fan gets his Half Court shot stuck on the rim.

What a weird week in the NBA. On Tuesday, we had Jermaine O'neal getting his lay up to stop dead right on the iron of the hoop, and now we have this. The probability of get your shot stuck like that is a million to one and the fact that he did it from half court is incredible. The Hawks organization should seriously consider giving him more than a $1000 dollars. After all, he probably will have to split it halfsies to the announcer who obviously rigged the event. You can't fool me.

Scottie Pippen is getting a reality show.

Timothy Hiatt/Getty Images
Few things that are very wrong with this.

1. The name of the show is "Big Pippen." This is not a joke, the name of the show is a pun (and a terrible at that).
Big Pippen, from Left Right Productions, revolves around Chicago power couple Larsa and Scottie Pippen. From private jets to designer digs, diamond rings and six NBA championships, the Pippens live a truly charmed life. Add in her overbearing family and his clan from Arkansas, and this duo is living life Big Pippen style.
2.  If this is Scottie Pippen's way of getting the attention he sought after in the Bulls day, he is doing it all wrong. Not to mention that reality shows never make you like a person more than you already do. The only right way to do it was when he was still playing because it would actually be interesting.

3. The show is intended for women (Not to bash the ladies). So there will probably be no talk of the glory days. I guess a rich married couple cuddling is great entertainment.
WE tv is appealing to its core female audience's interest in dating, shoes and religion with an ambitious slate of seven unscripted series vying for a place on its 2013-14 schedule.
If anything, there is one compelling reason to watch this show. Remember the supposed dance off Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan had at his 47th birthday. Yea, unless they show us the footage, this show won't go for 6 emmys or any kind of three peat.

James Harden balls out at a Night Club.

For those who don't already know, James Harden really likes to party, alot. He hosted a all white yacht party in the summer (it is not what you think, is just everyone dressed in white) and was making it rain on a girl at a club next month.

I am not even kidding when I am saying that he was ballin' out, those might be one dollar bills but that is one MAD FAT STACK, is what I would say if I was a rapper, which I am clearly not.

In his own way, he did good, he made that Lady's night, while barely making a dent in his bank account after signing that max 5 year, 80 million dollar contract with the Houston Rockets and he broke records on top of record in his first 2 games in a red jersey, so no harm done.

The Brooklyn Net's New Barclays Center has no toilet paper.

When the Net left New Jersey this year, they were were given a new home in Brooklyn. The city spent a billion dollars to build them the Barclays Center. You would think a billion dollar sports revenue would have all the luxuries in the world, but apparently you and I are both mistaken.

From DNAinfo:
Department of Health inspectors this month hit the freshly opened arena’s Calvin Klein Courtside Club with four violation points after they discovered the bathroom at the exclusive lounge was “not maintained and provided with toilet paper, waste receptacle and self-closing door.”
Maybe they are being interpret wrong, seeing that Calvin Klein are sponsors, they might be supplying towels for your butt wiping needs and fresh underwear as you leave. Or it is safe to assume that only rich people can afford the facilities in the center.I mean, who else can afford to wipe themselves with money.

Just jokes Mikhail Prokhorov, please don't call your former Russian gangster bros to break my fingers, I can help you with this problem. I am sure you don't want your players to have to hold it in during games. If you are looking for some advice for long term NBA success, NEVER GO CHEAP ON THE 2-PLY, 3 is too thick, not optimum for a complete clean.

Al Jefferson has a $23,000 sized bed.

Al Jefferson is a 6'10" human. He plays center for the Utah Jazz. And he happens to have a 10 ft. by 12 ft. bed. Do you know how many of me can fit into that Hulk of a bed. I am about 5'8", which is the average height of human beings (if you disagree, I will fight you to the death) and about 20 inches wide (yes, I actually measured) laying down with my hands by my side. That bed will fit six of me horizontally and two vertically, with inches of leg room.

If you still don't believe me, look at the picture below. That's 6'1" Mo Williams, he looks like he just climbed up the beanstalk and crawled on to the Giant's bed. Unbelievable!

Oh, and if you are interested, here's the actual receipt

Drunk Mark Cuban does the Gangnam Style dance.

Have you ever wondered what a successful billionaire that owns a NBA franchise would dance like while intoxicated. Well, here is what is looks like:

Even when he is drunk, that trademarked smug look does not go away. I haven't seem many billionaires dance, matter of fact this is the first one, but I feel like all rich people have a go to dance moves that incorporate variations of throwing money in the air.
