John Wall ranks as one of top point guards in the league when it comes to blocking shots. With his freakishly athletic ability, chasing down shots in the open court is one of the better skill of the variety he possesses. But that doesn't mean that he is no stranger to getting caught in a wrong defensive position when going for the swat. By now, everyone should have already witnessed the tragic death of Brandon Knight as he contests, or at least he tries to contest a dunk by a much larger and athletic DeAndre Jordan that short circuited the internet to for some reason allow a live murder to be viewed by as many as 2 million times on YouTube. Although John Wall have not experienced something as traumatic, he knows exactly what it is like to be in the shoes of his fellow Kentucky Wildcat. So he decided to a make good use of his knowledge and provide advice to help prevent these incidents from happening ever again.

“I have to think about who is going to dunk it. I don’t want to get dunked on,” Wall said, flashing a grin. “You just try to take your angles and if you know somebody is athletic, you’ve got to jump a little earlier.”

Duh. On helping against the Clippers:

“Not against that team. That team, you can’t help,” You know they got [Jordan] and Blake that’s jumping. You can’t help against those guys.”

Solid advice, it is not as if everyone didn't already know that when the Clippers got nicknamed Lob City or the time Blake Griffin got up so high that his crotch was literally in the face of his defender. But I guess it doesn't hurt to remind others. Seeing that he was once a victim of Blake Griffin.

I think the key is just to stop Chris Paul, guys. If he doesn't throw the pass, it will save your ass. (Sorry, I will show myself out. Even I know that one was bad.)

Annihilation Nation: Led by Chris Paul's 20 points (9 of 12) and 14 dimes, the Los Angeles Clippers destroyed the visiting Detroit Pistons by a margin of 32 points with ease. The Pistons, after witnessing the death of Brandon Knight, were never the same, as they returned in the second half without any answers on either side of the floor. Blake Griffin racked up 22 points and snagged 8 rebounds in just 21 minutes of play. He also crossed some dudes up.

Rolling Thunder: The Oklahoma City Thunder have won 5 straight in the victory over the Boston Celtics. The C's kept it close for the most parts of this game, but OKC held them to 14 points in the 4th quarter and only 34 points in the second half on 25 percent shooting to come out on top. Kevin Durant led the way with 23 points (6 of 16), and 11 boards. Russell Westbrook added 15 on 5 of 11 shooting. It was all Paul Pierce for the men in green, as he goes for 20 points (6 of 12), 4 rebounds and 6 assists to end Boston's 5 game winning streak.

L.A. Quest: With the win against the injury depleted Chicago Bulls on Sunday afternoon, the Lakers have clinched the eighth spot and still has an opportunity to move up in the seeding if they can continue to win. The Bulls struggled to hit anything from the field, shooting 37 percent. While the Lakers hit their shots at a 45 percent clip. Kobe Bryant has returned to Earth with 19 points (7 of 16), 7 rebounds and 9 dimes. Dwight Howard dominated the glass with 21 boards to go with his 16 points (8 of 14).

Hive Buzz: Down 2 with 15 seconds left to play, Damian Lillard hits a huge three to give his Portland Trail Blazers, a one point lead in the remaining 11 seconds. But to their demise, Ryan Anderson of the Hornets would come up even bigger, completing a game winning three point play to snap a three game losing streak. Lillard would end up with 20 points (9 of 16) and 8 assists, while Anderson finishes with 20 points (7 of 15) and 13 rebounds.

Antler Attack: In the absence of Ersan Illyasova and Larry Sanders, the shorthanded Bucks made a late run to pull out with the victory against the Sacramento Kings. The Kings had it going early with DeMarcus Cousins going for 24 points on 10 of 12 shooting and 10 boards before getting ejected for a flagrant elbow to the head of Mike Dunleavy Jr. Without their scoring punch, Sacramento had no defense to fall back on, as they watch the Bucks creep from behind to take the W. Monta Ellis had 29 points on 24 shots and 9 assists.

A Few Notes: The Miami Heat improves to 18 in a row in the assassination of the Indiana Pacers to become the 9th team in NBA history to accomplish such a feat. In a special game like this, of course you would expect a big game from the Big 3, but nope. It was Mario Chlamers that scored a game-high 26 points, shot 5 of 6 from fown town and snagged 7 boards. Chris Bosh chipped in for 24 points, Dwyane added another 23. David West of the Pacers had 24 points on 7 of 10 shooting and 5 rebounds in the loss.

The Raptors without Rudy Gay, came back from 17 down to take out the Cleveland Cavaliers. Cav's' star, Kyrie Irving left the game in the third quarter after suffering a left shoulder contusion in the collision with Jonas Valaciunas. Amir Johnson stepped up for 17 points (8 of 19), and 16 boards in the place of Rudy. With a one point lead in less than 20 seconds to play, Kyle Lowry hits the toughest 2 points of his total 15 to seal the win. He also finished with 9 rebounds and 5 dimes.

Fantasy Shoutouts: Vince Carter turned the clock back with 22 points on 8 of 15 shooting and 9 boards in the Dallas victory over the miserable Minnesota Timberwolves, who has now lost 8 of their last 9 games and remains the worst three point shooting team in the league.

In his return to Philadelphia, Nikola Vucevic went for 14 points (7 of 13) and 17 rebounds to show his former team what they missed out on. His fellow Orlando Magic teammate, Jameer Nelson had 24 points (9 of 17), 5 rebounds and 10 assists in the win. Sixers' Thaddeus Young led his team with 26 points (13 of 17), 12 boards and 5 steals.

Oh man, even though Pau Gasol played only three games in the month of February, the NBA still had a include a clip of the Laker, that's how much of a laughing stock the team is now. I mean, they skipped all of the Javale McGee slip ups in a NBA blooper reel. It's a crime, really.

Thursday night, was not only San Antonio Spurs' 26 point victory statement to the rest of the league, it was also the first communication complication between two best friends. Blake and DeAndre are the closest as teammates could get. These two know everything about each other. There are even sufficient scientific evidence to prove that their hearts share the same beat. For something this awkward to happen between these brothers from different mothers, there must have been an off-set in their chemistry. Maybe it was just a 17 point lead given to their opponent, or it could be just a tribute to one of the greatest moments in NBA history. Where Kevin Love and Wesley Johnson will be forever immortalized for never completing their handshake. Which also happened earlier in the season to the duo of Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant. Must be some sort of new NBA protocol to test friendships. Curses, David Stern.

DeAndre Jordan's mom gave her son free throw shooting advice.

Ever since the Los Angeles Clippers became a good team, they have been given a lot of games on national television. And when you are on national television, you want to show everyone including casual fans that don't know much about you, how good you actually are. Usually the Clippers does a good job of this, I mean you can't get casual fans more involved than 5,000 alley-oops a game. But sometimes, believe it or not, this team has to shoot free throws and they just happen to be one of the worst in league. DeAndre Jordan is the second worst free throw shooter on his team and last night he embarrassed himself in front of everyone with a TV. It was so bad that his mom took it on twitter (she often live tweets her son's game and it is pretty entertaining) to give a few words of advice for her son.

I am pretty he used both of his eyes there, Ms. Jordan. Is there a third eye that I am not aware off? Or is it because his eyes are so close together (and they are), that if he doesn't cross his eyes to make one big eye, he will miss? I need answers.

Most teams in the NBA will start their pre-game routine with layup lines to loosen up before games. The Los Angeles Clippers are not one of those teams. As the youngest and most athletic team in the league, they don't do those silly layup lines. With a nickname like Lob -City, they hold up to their reputation from start to finish. They begin their warm ups with dunk lines and have a dunk contest of their own to get ready for the game. Usually they don't do anything really crazy, but DeAndre Jordan decided to do things a little different last night.

Does it remind you of anything? Most of you should be familiar with this dunk. It has been a long time since I have seen someone pull of a 360-Windmill. The last and first person to do it in the NBA was Vince Carter in the 2000 Dunk Contest. Also known as the contest that ended all contests due to how high the bar Vince has set since he participated. It was impressive when a 6 foot 6 shooting guard pulled it off, it is even more impressive to see a near 7 footer do it with the same ease. Unfortunately for all of us, DeAndre Jordan rejected the invite to be in this year's contest. In real sense, it was the right move because James White is dunking and there is no one that can beat him.

Okay, so apparently DeAndre Jordan of the Los Angeles Clippers, who is notorious for being terrible at the charity stripe can hit threes now. If that is the case, I hope we will never see this again.

DeAndre Jordan doesn't appreciate your silly fouling tactics.

When you are atrocious at shooting free throws in the NBA, you are going to be a victim of the infamous "Hack-A-Shaq" tactic. Coaches would usually employ this strategy in an attempt to getting his team another possession, while risking free points for the other team. It is one of the most controversial rules in the NBA, and personally I would like to see these intentional off the ball fouls removed from the league. Obviously, DeAndre Jordan agrees with me, because he did not like Draymond Green getting up in his face. Now he has to go up to the free throw line and take a shot he makes 43 percent of the time, bummer.
