Is there something in the air in Denver that makes 50+ foot lob passes effortless that I should know about? Seriously, it's like whenever they come down to a lower altitude, their alley-oop game exponentially improves and then these things happen. The pass from Andre Miller is just all sorts of ridiculous, it took him exactly a second to turn around, face the court, one dribble and with a flick of his ancient, arthritic wrist, he hits the leaking Kenneth Faried from half court for the alley-oop finish. The execution of the whole play was just so perfect, that even the normally happy-go-lucky, excited about everything Manimal was bored. His face at the end of the dunk tells it all, dude was not remotely impressed. I don't know if it was the pass or Utah's defense, but I am guessing it's the latter.

Dwyane Wade's no look pass to LeBron James for the alley-oop finish.

The Miami Heat has done their fair share of damage to the magic of the alley-oops, but this one is absolute insanity. Dwyane Wade threw a perfectly placed, no look pass, over his shoulder to a trailing LeBron James. No wonder he goes by the nickname, W.O.W., it's definitely not for commercial reasons.

Andre Miller and Javale McGee hooked up for a 70 foot alley-oop.

If there is any alley-oop combo better than Chris Paul with anyone that can jump, Andre Miller and Javale McGee would be the close second. Andre Miller deserves all the credit for this, throwing an effortless pass from his own three point line and hitting his target perfectly. But Javale had to ruin it by being Javale. You just had to throw it in, instead of dunking it. Way to ruin the play of the year. At least you saved Andre Miller's legs, the old man can't run past the half court in every possession. Whew.
