After that horrible week of basketball, the Basketball gods gave us a one highlight packed night. In the second clash of the Boroughs, the New York Knicks prevailed. Led by Carmelo Anthony's 45 points (15 of 24 from the field, 5 of 7 from three), 5 rebounds and 3 assists, the Knicks overcame the Nets' 21-5 start in the first quarter.
Boards: Dwight Howard grabbed 20 rebounds in the loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. He had 19 points, 13 of which came from the free throw line. Must be a big charity person with the time he spends there.
Dishin': In his first game back from the finger injury, Kyrie Irving lit up the Los Angeles Lakers, 28 points (11 of 21), 6 rebounds and 11 assists.
Block Party: Jason Maxiell invited 6 basketballs and swatted them all. His 18 points and 6 rebounds were not enough to kick the Denver Nuggets out of Motown.
Time Machine User (AKA Mamba Watch): Kobe Bryant scored 42 points and still could not get a win for the Lakers, they are 1-10 when the Mamba scores 30 points or more.
Clyde Frazier Suit: "My suit is swaggin' and pimpin'." (Via: @Shultz_Report)
#BOOZERFACE: Never gets old.
Basketball hoops hate Clippers: "We have feelings too."
Clippers are a ruthless species, they dunk on anyone, family or not.
Skates: Chris Paul and Kyrie Irving are nice with the in and out dribble.
Deja Vu: Kyrie Irving and Kobe Bryant acts out their own Allen Iverson vs. Michael Jordan sequence. Too bad, Kyrie owes Kobe $50,000 bucks now.
Eat Hair: Anderson Varejao fed Jordan Hill his Brazilian delicacies.
Bald Finish: Jason Kidd wins the game for the New York Knicks and the first ever passionate J.R. Smith hug.
